Volcanoes vs. Boise
Monday, July 1st - The Volcanoes third homestand kicks off as the Volcanoes play the Boise Hawks, affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, in a three-game homestand. The game features the beginning of the Volcanoes? three-day 6th Annual Patriotic Tribute at Volcanoes Stadium. Yes, we will be Thanking, Honoring and Saluting 90+ outstanding, brave men and women of our Armed Forces from World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Europe and the Middle-East including Major General Dan Hitchcock, Brigadier General Stan Flemming of Seattle, F-15 Pilot Alaric Michaelis, Captain Van Zallee, WWII Bombadier 1st Lt. Larry Weinsheimer, CWO5 Kim Johns, and many, many more Military Heroes and dignitaries. Dr. Bridget Cantrell considered one of the world?s most noted authorities on PTSD will be here all three days. Thirty organizations who work with Military families will be on the concourse handing out helpful information. The Volcanoes will be wearing their Patriotic Uniforms sponsored by USAA. The McNary High School Air Force JROTC will perform drill maneuvers between innings. And it will be our second of six Kids Night at Volcanoes Stadium where Kids 12 and Under may email Volcanoes owner, Jerry Walker, at jwalker@volcanoesbaseball.com, and request a FREE ticket. Mr. Walker will email you back a FREE ticket voucher you may print at home. Invite all your friends 12 and under to join you. Game Time is 6:35; Gates Open at 5:15. Order your tickets early as this surely will be a standing room only event.
