Pinot for the Parks "Build the Big Toy"
We are excited to be hosting our second large fundraiser -- an evening of wine, food, music, and good company -- all benefiting Keizer's parks. All
In the last year, Keizer Parks Foundation has raised and given over $7,500 for projects such as improvements to the Dog Park, new play structures at Willamette Manor Park, Shakespeare in the Park, heritage markers and the Bicentennial Celebration, and the free summer recreation program.
We hope the community will turn out to support this evening. We have some REALLY good wines and foods. Wine tasting is free, with wine sales by the glass or bottle.Local wineries will be pouring: They include one of the oldest vineyards in the Willamette Valley, Vitae Springs Vineyard; two newcomers with Keizer connections, Scenic Valley Winery and Mia Sonatina Cellars; and two that have recently won national recognition, Sineann Winery and Illahe Vineyards.
"Small plates" for $5 are a bargain --(pulled-pork sandwiches, and pizza made in a wood-fired oven right outside!
Each ticket will entitle the guest to one chance at fabulous door prizes: Tastings of premium $100+ wines! A wine-lover's dream -- and sure way to discover a lot of new friends! Some wonderful gifts have been donated to the Silent Auction, and members of the McNary Ensemble are planning to entertain us.
