Oregon State University Extension Office Open House
The Oregon State University Extension Service’s Marion County office will keep its doors open a little later than normal on Tuesday, November 10, for a special open house event. The public is invited and encouraged to stop by from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. to see the new office space and get acquainted with Extension staff and faculty members.
The office location moved earlier this year to its new location in the Oregon Farm Bureau Building, 1320 Capitol Street NE, Suite 110, in Salem.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore “learning stations” about each of the Extension Service’s programs: 4-H Youth Development, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Agritourism, Gardening and Master Gardeners, Family and Community Health, Master Food Preservers and Nutrition. Door prizes and refreshments will be part of the event.
OSU Extension Service has expanded its office hours and is building its level of programming for the residents of Marion County because of the new service district approved by voters in the May, 2015 election.
Please contact the office for more information between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 503-588-5301.
Oregon State University Extension Service offers educational programs, activities, and materials without discrimination based on age, color, disability, familial or parental status, gender identity or expression, genetic information, marital status, national origin, political beliefs, race, religion, reprisal, sex, sexual orientation, veteran's status, or because all or a part of an individual's income is derived from any public assistance program.
