Oregon 150 Picnic & Paddle
An old fashion picnic and paddle scheduled for June 27th will commemorate Oregon’s Sesquicentennial. What’s more…. Marion County 150 Miles for 150 Years Relay baton exchange will take place. Join the flotilla as we carry the baton by canoe down the Willamette River to a planned exchange with a St Paul representative. Paddlers are welcome to join the short float to the Wheatland Ferry or take the longer one to San Salvador. Canoes and Kayaks will be available for a rental fee.
Bring you own picnic from 11am—1pm. Families, dates, or just good friends are encouraged to come out and watch the baton exchange and also enjoy music provided by the Keizer Community Band. Concessions also available. Make plans to join in the old fashion games and have a neighborly good time.
