Family Harvest Days at The Oregon Garden
Bring your family to The Oregon Garden, each Saturday from 1-4pm for Family Harvest Days! The event includes educational harvest activities, crafts and games throughout the Garden. Kids will be able to learn about tractors, scarecrows and more, and will go home with a bag of fun harvest goodies. In addition, kids will receive harvest treats, while adults receive beer and wine. Activity fee is $5 (in addition to Garden admission).
Throughout the month of October, the Garden will also feature Scarecrows in the Garden. Locally designed scarecrows (by schools, artists, families) will be displayed throughout the Garden for the month of October. Visitors will vote on their favorite, and at the end of the month there will be a Best in Show award for both kids and adults.
Every Saturday, families will also be able to participate in the Golden Pumpkin Hunt. You can find your first clue on Facebook
(www.facebook.com/theoregongarden) and then come to the Garden to find the special Golden Pumpkin. All who find the pumpkin will be entered into a grand prize drawing for great prizes!
Join us for harvest fun during the month of October!
