Marion County Farm Bureau to Hold Energy Workshop The Marion County Farm Bureau will hold an energy workshop, Discovering the Natural Energy of your Farm ~ A Power Symposium for the Farming Community, on Tuesday December 4, 2012 during the Oregon Farm Bureau Convention, in Salem. The MCFB has partnered with sponsors PGE and Energy Trust of Oregon along with a panel of renewable energy service providers and farmers that are currently using various forms of energy such as: wind, solar, bio-digesters, and in-stream hydroelectric. The Oregon Department of Energy will be available to share and answer questions on incentives, tax credits, rebates and energy efficiency. The goal of the workshop is to provide insight into the opportunities available to the agricultural community.
