Keizer Chamber Greeters hosted by: Covanta Marion
Have you wondered what happens at Covanta Marion?! Well wonder no more! Covanta Marion will be talking about what it takes to process 550 tons per day of municipal solid waste (MSW), which generates up to 13.1 megawatts of renewable energy . The facility was the first mass-burn waterwall resource recovery facility combusting MSW in the United States to use dry flue gas scrubbers and fabric filter baghouses to control acid gases and particulates.
Join us to network with fellow members and guests and be sure to bring plenty of business cards and a door prize for added exposure.
Free networking event for members and guests. We welcome guests to attend up to two of our events before we ask that they join in order to continue to enjoy this popular benefit of membership with the Keizer Chamber.
Space is limited to the first 30 that RSVP!!
Important Parking info:
As you come into the facility, turn to the left and then see visitor parking on the right. It is limited, and attendees are welcome to park on the opposite side of the driveway. Waste delivery vehicles do use that same driveway as they exit the facility so be sure to park as far over as possible. Carpooling is recommended if at all possible.
