Sustainability Summit 2013 is about economic opportunities now and in the future. Portland General Electric has sponsored this collaborative event of the Keizer Chamber, the City of Keizer, the City of Salem, Marion County and other local business partners since 2010. The purpose of this summit is to facilitate the discussion of emerging business development, encourage sustainable practices, and grow Salem-Keizer area economy/workforce. Mike specializes in economic analysis, modeling, and real estate analysis.

Ph.D. Economics and Politics, Claremont Graduate University
M.A. International Political Economy, Claremont Graduate University
B.A. Economics, Whittier College
Michael's areas of expertise include econometrics and applied microeconomics in the fields of real estate, banking, finance and urban economics. He has applied expertise in projects involving portfolio analysis, fixed-income investments, cash flow and pro-forma analysis, property valuation, private equity, private investments in public entities, and development feasibility studies. Michael is proficient in the use of GIS and has expertise in creating statistical models that incorporate spatial temporal analysis in order to improve upon standard modeling techniques.
