Stitches in Bloom Quilt Show at The Oregon Garden

The Stitches in Bloom Quilt Show will be held in the Grand Hall of The Oregon Garden, January 27-28, 2012, from 10am to 4pm. The show will feature hundreds of quilts, along with vendors, workshops and lectures. Internationally-recognized featured artist, Velda Newman, will also be giving lectures each day during the show http://veldanewman.com/. Entrance into the show is $10, and the tram will be running throughout the event to provide guests with a tour of the stunning 80-acre botanical garden.

Guests can also get a special preview of the event during the Sneak Peek on January 26, 5:30 – 7:30. Attendees will enjoy wine and hors d'oeuvres while taking in beautiful quilts and shopping the vendors before the show opens to the general public. Tickets are $15 and must be purchased in advance.

The Quilt Show also includes two 2-day workshops, prior to the show. French Wire Ribbon Flowers with Mary Ross January 23-24 and Texture and Form 2 with Velda Newman January 25-26. Early registration is required.
