Monarchs and Milkweed with the Elkton Community Education Center April 30 | 2 PM Join butterfly specialists Kris Hendricks and Barbara Slott of the Elkton Community Education Center for a fun, craft-filled afternoon aimed at teaching children about the importance of preserving monarchs and milkweed. A multimedia presentation involving pictures, puppets and more illustrates the interconnected lifecycle of these species, while the creation of butterfly friendly "seed balls" lets kids of all ages get their hands dirty in the name of preserving our world's natural treasures.
