Howl-a-Palooza is a free educational canine event hosted by the City of Keizer, the City of Salem, and Marion County. This year's event is being held at beautiful Riverfront Park in Salem. Come out and join vendors from the region who are providing grooming tips, veterinary services, low cost vaccinations, training tips, and an assortment of goodies for your 4-legged friend. Looking for a new addition to your family? This event will include representatives from local rescue groups with lots of adoptable dogs to choose from. Other important educational outreach and valuable donation opportunities will be provided by the Willamette Valley Hospice 'Pet Peace of Mind' program, and Fences for Fido. Looking for a fun day in the park with your pooch? Come out and meet Keizer's own Natalie Cunial from the Season 9 of the hit CBS show Big Brother. The event includes a doggie costume contest with prizes and also a Raffle for the Rescues. Proceeds from the raffle will be distributed to the rescue groups and non-profits. We look forward to seeing you on October 5th! For more information contact Elizabeth Sagmiller at 503-856-3563
