FATHER TAAFFE HOMES COMMEMORATE 50 YEARS OF SERVICE AND LEGACY ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION SET FOR MARCH 15, 2025
Father Taaffe Homes, a program offering foundational support for young mothers in crisis and their children, proudly announces its 50th Anniversary Celebration. The event will occur on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church (4227 Lone Oak Road SE, Salem, OR). It will bring together community members, supporters, and beneficiaries to honor the enduring legacy of Father Taaffe's mission. Event Details: 5:00 PM -- Commemorative Mass 6:00 PM -- Reception, Dinner, and Program The evening will celebrate Father Taaffe Homes' profound impact and reflect on its five decades of service. Guests will hear compelling stories of resilience and transformation, experience a retrospective look at Father Taaffe's contributions, and learn about the program's plans for the future. Honoring a Legacy Through Reflection and Celebration A specially curated "Walk Through Time" exhibit will feature archival photographs and personal testimonies from the many mothers and children whose lives have been shaped by Father Taaffe Homes. Additionally, friends and colleagues will share insights into Father Taaffe's dedication and the lasting impact of his work. Engaging Activities in Tribute to Father Taaffe In homage to Father Taaffe's cherished St. Patrick's Day traditions, attendees will enjoy interactive activities, including: Clover Pull -- A themed game with Irish-inspired prizes, whiskey, and wine Luck of the Irish Raffle -- A special raffle featuring exciting getaway packages. An Early Bird drawing will be held during the event, with a grand prize drawing scheduled for May 14, 2025 Invitation to the Community This momentous occasion is open to all who wish to celebrate, reflect, and contribute to the ongoing mission of Father Taaffe Homes and Pregnancy Support Services.
