CATHOLIC COMMUNITY SERVICES TO HOST 20TH ANNUAL LUNCHEON
Catholic Community Services of the Mid-Willamette Valley and Central Coast (CCS) is excited to announce its 2024 Annual Luncheon, October 1, 2024, noon at the Salem Convention Center and live-streamed on its website. This gathering will unite community leaders, supporters, and friends to celebrate the impact of their essential services, which bring hope and healing to those in need throughout our region. This year’s luncheon celebrates 20 years of bringing supporters together. It will shine a spotlight on the significant impact of CCS’s programs, which serve children, families, and individuals facing challenges such as poverty, homelessness, and disability. Funds raised during the luncheon will directly support these crucial programs, enabling the nonprofit to serve the most vulnerable members of our community. Chief Executive Officer Josh Graves highlighted the critical role of community support in sustaining the organization’s mission. “The generosity of our donors sustains our work,” said Graves. “Every dollar raised at this luncheon translates into life-changing services for those in need. Whether it’s providing a safe home for mother and child in crisis, providing for the basic needs of individuals and families struggling with homelessness or food insecurity, or ensuring that someone who experiences disabilities can live a life of dignity, your donations make an immeasurable difference in the lives of our neighbors. We are profoundly grateful for the community’s unwavering support.” The luncheon is complimentary and will feature inspiring stories from individuals whose lives have been transformed by CCS’s services. Attendees can donate and engage with staff and volunteers to learn more about the organization’s ongoing efforts and future plans. Graves encouraged people passionate about helping others to attend. “Most importantly, it’s a time to enjoy the fellowship of hundreds of people of goodwill coming together on behalf of children, youth, and families in need. Together, we can build a stronger community where we all can flourish together,” he said.
