This community bulk buying event\, organized by Friends of Family Farmers\, will be held on Saturday\, January 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Marion-Polk Food Share.\n\nCommunity members can purchase pasture-raised meat\, beans\, grains\, winter squash\, root vegetables and more from eleven local farms and ranches. Orders are placed online through January 22. Food is available for pick up on January 28 at Marion-Polk Food Share's warehouse\, located at 1660 Salem Industrial Drive NE in Salem.\n\nThis event is an opportunity for the community to purchase local food directly from farmers and ranchers\, as well as save money by buying in bulk.\n\nPlease help us spread the word about this unique event.  This type of event has been held for years in Eugene\, Corvallis and Portland\, so we are very excited to help bring it to our community.
