DESCRIPTION:Masks are required and elegant attire is encouraged at The Liberty House Child Abuse Assessment Center's New Year's Eve Midnight Masquerade Ball.  Presale tickets are available until November 16 for $40 each and then will be sold for $50 each through December 28.\n\n	The event will take place on December 31\, New Year's Eve\, at Salem's Grand Ballroom\, 187 High Street\, from 9 pm   1 am.   There will be dancing\, appetizers\, entertainment\, contests and the traditional midnight champagne toast to ring in 2013.  The Red Lion hotel is offering special room rates that night and the Hut Shuttle will transport guests between the hotel and the event.\n\n	Tickets for 21 and over can be purchased online at libertyhousecenter.org or by calling 503-540-0288.  There will be no ticket sales at the door.\n\n	Liberty House is Marion County's only child abuse assessment center\, the only place providing special medical assessment services for children facing abuse concerns. Services available include a head-to-toe check-up and a carefully designed interview in an environment designed for kids. Liberty House also provides information and support for families and caregivers.  Liberty House serves children of all ages -- from infants to age 18 -- with concerns of sexual abuse\, physical abuse and neglect. Services are voluntary and free of cost to the family. Liberty House also strives to serve as a resource for the community on the issue of child abuse and its prevention.
