SUMMARY:EOA and House Needs Analysis Open House
DESCRIPTION:PACKET\nEconomic Opportunities Analysis (EOA) and Housing Needs Analysis (HNA) open house\n\n \n\nThe city of Keizer will hold on open house on April 10\, 2013 from 4:30 6:00 pm in the City Council Chambers in City Hall\, 930 Chemawa Road\, on the proposed EOA and HNA. These planning studies document the projected residential and employment land that the city will need to meet its forecasted 20 year population increase. Each analysis builds on the previously developed regional EOA and regional HNA. The two studies indicate that Keizer will have a deficit of 256 acres of land to meets its future residential needs. The employment land needs currently show three scenarios that project a deficit that ranges from 4 to 23 acres to meet future commercial needs\; a net surplus of industrial land\; and\, and a deficit of between 28 to 42 acres to meet projected institutional needs. The public is welcome to review and offer comments on these two planning studies. The open house will be followed by the final meeting technical advisory committee that has been working on this project.
