Loom, a screen recording software, is now free for teachers and students to use for schoolwork.

Here is an example of me using Loom:

If you became a customer of ours in the last several months, you probably already know a bit about this one. It allows you to record your screen while talking so you can explain how to do something or present information. You can also choose to have your webcam record your face, too. Or, you can just use the webcam recording option to share a quick message with someone.

This is perfect for educators looking to record a lesson or even for a quick message to send to someone and have saved for future reference. I especially love that you can save videos into folders, organize them, and share them with certain people.

Below are a few resources they've put out to help educators get started:

How to Sign Up (Teachers & Students)
Guide for Educators
Screencasting Option
Make Better Educational Videos

If you're not an educator, that's okay! You can still use this to share videos of you and/or your screen. It's great for sales, review/collaboration, tech support, training, and probably a ton of other situations. You can even use it to send videos of encouragement to your team remotely!

I hope this tool brings value to you and your team in this time. If you're looking for other tools or ways to keep your business going strong, we have also written an article about that with our top recommendations and a FREE resource at the bottom.

Bless you all!
