News Release: 3/13/2020 Is your business impacted by the Coronavirus?
Yesterday, Governor Brown put forward an executive order to slow the spread of COVID-19 in Oregon. She issued Executive Order 20-05, which outlines rules that limit large public gatherings (250+) and ensure social distancing for the next four weeks. "Gatherings...include, but are not limited to, community, civic, public, leisure, faith-based, and sporting events, concerts, conventions, fundraisers, and any similar events or activities, if a distance of at least three (3) feet between individuals cannot be maintained." In her press conference, the Governor affirmed her commitment, not only to public health, but to ensuring that local businesses have they support they need to weather this health crisis. This includes support for small businesses who may be unduly impacted and face financial hardship.
In order to meet the threshold for federal small business assistance, OREGON SMALL BUSINESSES have to engage and share the impact. PLEASE COME FORWARD AND TELL YOUR STORY.
