Job Description

To provide superior banking services to customers in a professional manner. Provide the customer and potential customer with a clear understanding of the technical aspects and benefits of products and services offered. Expand the customer base through successful selling

techniques.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned.

Expand customer base through in-depth knowledge of retail services, products and selling techniques

Recognizes selling opportunities and effectively cross-sells bank products and services

Follows up on sales opportunities/prospects/refers prospect to appropriate department, such as Trust

Acknowledges customer complaints and follows up on complaints and ensures customer satisfaction

Process all financial transactions in an accurate and timely manner, accepts deposits and loan payments

Redeems/settles/issues cashier checks, money orders and gift/travel cards

Processes branch capture, credit card, mortgage payments

Handles balance inquiries and resolves problems

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Customer Service experience preferred; cash handling experience

preferred; working knowledge of Microsoft Suite products preferred.
